The largest resort in the Mt Hood National Park, Mt Hood Meadows also has the fastest lifts and best terrain around. Given its pros, the ski resort is rather popular and sees quite the crowds especially during holidays, it's also the most expensive resort here at Mt Hood. Nonetheless, it's one of the top resorts around.

Great commuter resort but not a good candidate for a destination resort unless you are visiting during midweek or in the off season. The crowds here on weekends are brutal, however if all the lifts are open the lines are typically reasonable. Good range of intermediate to advanced runs. Meadows has the best terrain of any ski area in the Portland, OR, area, and is a short drive from the city. On a good year they get a lot of snow although, in keeping with the PNW, it does tend to be a bit wet and heavy. Can get crowded on weekends, but mid-week and in the middle of a snowstorm the crowds thin out quite a bit.... Moreexpert skier

Premier ski resort located in a very beautiful place. Easily accessible from the metro areas and not over crowded. Oregon's tallest peak and with a wonderful snow-pack. Great backcountry and park options. Mt. Hood Meadows raises the bar.... Moreintermediate skier

Great all around terrain for all levels. Lots of fun hidden side country. Plus great steeps in Heather's and Clark's Canyon. My favorite of the Mt. Hood resorts. Greatest diversity of terrain and adventure parks on mount hood. Lines on main lifts can take a while but other sides of the resort are mischievous more smooth sailing. Definitely my favorite resort on the mighty Wy'east! ... Moreadvanced skier
