Lake Louise is an absolute gem- great mix of terrain from trees to wide open groomers to mogul filled bowl to simple cruising lines -framed by some of the best mountain views in the world! Lovely log mountain base lodge and fun beer patio for apres. It's all about the skiing and the layout though!... Moreadvanced skier

My boyfriend and I were here last winter.
He had never seen snow before let alone skied.
Although he was (and still is a novice) he loved every moment of it and so did I.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were perfect and hills themselves were the best I've ever skied.... Moreadvanced skier

I'm a man of few words.
Lake Louise is spectacular in summer and paradise in winter.
This resort has something for everyone at every stage. Restaurants, bars, activities.
Whether you're 10 or 110 you'll find something you'll love.... Moreintermediate skier

Excellent POW and huge terrain to enjoy it. I got lucky to snowboard in 40 cm of fresh pow. Lifts were fast and plenty. It is a long drive from BC though, especially if you are in the lower mainland. ... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Huge resort. Lots of really fun hike in back country runs on the backside. You would need a few days to fully explore this whole resort. Great for all levels although more options for intermediate to advanced.... Moreadvanced skier

On its day, with new snow, the lake is hard to beat. Its a bit further from Banff, so expect a longer drive or bus ride, but once there, you can be rewarded on a great day. The back side and the t bar, with fresh snow, are amazing. Just as good as some much harder to access areas in other resorts. On a powder day, get to the top of the tee bar and... Moreexpert skier

I like the scenery around banf about the same as Whistler, but we find the lower temps a bit harder to take. In Whistler, you still get the snow but the climate just seems to be gentler.Average!3 / 5Apr 05, 2013
