This was my favorite mountain! Friendly staff and amazing terrain. There were so many options for different runs to explore that I wish I had more time. I cannot wait to go back!... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Lake Louise is a great destination that you can piggy back with Banff. Beautiful terrain and views. I felt like there were a lot of kids there the last time we were there. The snow was thin with a bunch of closed trails. The few times I’ve been there, the lifts higher up the mountain closed frequently due to wind.... Moreadvanced skier

Lake Louise is a great family resort with lots to offer. Very long runs which I personally enjoy. Absolutely gorgeous views that make the ride down that much more enjoyable.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Old, friendly big resort.
The facilities and lifts are pretty old (although well maintained), as it's in a national park and construction is very limited.
Staff is usually very nice at the lifts, it adds to the fun and safety! At least, more involved and present than in most the hills I've been to.
Snow is very good, open Nov-May with a wide... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Solid location for early season went over thanksgiving holiday in the 2018 season - back bowls are where you want to be. Front side can get most of its snow blown to the backside. Watch out for rocks in the early season! Lessons are very affordable!... Moreadvanced skier

It's a further drive than Sunshine but it has it's charms. There is a lot of terrain to attend to at Lake Louise. It runs a late season (usually start of May) and it's on the way to Kicking Horse Resort. Lift tickets aren't cheap (but where are they cheap?). The gondola is a nice option for families and newer riders. There is a lot of good out of... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Lake Louise is by far the most family friend resort I have ever skied, but the real gem of the Rockies came alive when we met some of the local staff and residents who showed us the truly magical spots!... Moreadvanced snowboarder
