Wolf Creek offers seven lifts serving 1,600 ac of skiing and snowboarding - at great rates. Wolf Creek doesn't get the big crowds, but it does get the big snow - over 450 in annually. In fact, The U.S. Olympic Team trains here because the season is long and snowy at this high elevation South West Colorado ski resort. Wolf Creek has trademarked "the most snow in Colorado" and backs up their claim scientifically by typically receiving 450-470 ft of snow in this South West Snowbelt. This is the mountain I learn to snowboard on. It will always be one of my favorite mountains to go to. Nice easy green slopes to start off on progressing to some nice blues and blacks. Will always go back to Wolf Creek is one of my favorite mountains.... Moreintermediate snowboarder

Wolf Creek is a dream for skiers and boarders who love powder and tons of trees. Always has the best snow in Colorado and is more affordable than the other big resorts that the state is known for. It's a bit of a drive from other major locations, and is about 45 minutes from the closest city, but it's relatively close to South Fork, a town that has... Moreadvanced skier

Wolf offers everything. Backcountry hiking to access the Steeps, chutes, trees. And of course plenty of groomers. Sits on top of the continental divide on the famous 160 Wolf Creek pass. For only about 1700 acres this place skis like a much larger resort. Nice people with cheap tickets ($72). The base lodge is nice with a big deck and plenty... Moreexpert skier

Incredible snow, no crowds, and family friendly is how to describe Wolf Creek. Passes are also very cheap and there is good terrain for all levels. The only drawback is that there is no nearby accommodation and the nearest major cities are Santa Fe (3 hours) or Denver (5 hours).... Moreexpert skier

I can always depend on Wolf Creek for good, early snow and a laid back family atmosphere. Never any lines or crowded runs! Unfortuantly not much of an apres ski atmosphere in Pagosa Springs but the hot springs are nice after a hard day of shredding.... Morebeginner snowboarder

I loved my experience at Wolf Creek! The snow was the best quality I have ever skied on, but my only complaint was the length of the runs. If they were longer I would never want to leave! I also loved that it’s in the middle of nowhere so there’s virtually no lines at all. However with that being said the resort is literally in the middle of... Moreintermediate skier

Snow is always plentiful here and the crowds are small. Tucked away from many of the bigger parts of Colorado, Wolf Creek offers some Colorado pow without the price or crowds.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Wolf Creek is a hidden gem. I was invited there by some childhood friends from back east, who now live in Pagosa Springs. My son, one of his friends and I decided to make the trek from the front range after mediocre conditions. My friends told me Wolf Creek was getting hammered with snow. Turns out that WC gets more snow annually than... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Powder, powder, powder, that's what it is all about here. No parks, and not even completely groomed, they know what their product is. Powder and trees. Don't waste your time near the chairs. Go to knife ridge and find the cat. Hike up about 200 yards and drop left. That's where the glory is. You can get cheaper tickets on Wed I believe, their... Moreexpert snowboarder

Wolf Creek is a small gem in Southern Colorado, that receives an ungodly amount of snow. If you are looking for nonexistent lift lines, waist-deep powder, and friendly people, then Wolf Creek is the place to go.... Moreadvanced skier
