Absolute ripper time, barely anyone on the slopes and tonnes of powder snow. The food is amazing and the people are very kind. Suitable for all ages and would definitely go back there again.... More

Suginohara is arguably the best of the Myoko resorts with varied terrain mostly catering for intermediates. There's some sweet back country accessible from the top and very nice tree runs, and a fairly good park area. The restaurants on piste are excellent. The village is very quiet as most of the action is near Akakura Onsen. There's a free... More

The most beautiful scenery. The snow is perfect on long runs to suit all skiers. Plenty of 'off piste' runs through the trees. It's a must if you haven't been before. The bus takes you to Myoko from Narita and Hanaeda airports and drops you off at your accommodation.... More

Having visited a number of times from nearby Akakura Onsen, access is very easy on the shuttle buses or by private car. We have scored a couple of powder days here and the top half of the mountain has been an absolute blast. There are... More

Great resort. Local vibe and plenty of fresh powder. One of my favourites in japan. Has a super long run but not much park feature... But it's more about shredding the pow which is ideal.... More

This resort is excellent for intermediate skiers. The courses are LONG and you can cruise for an eternity. Many of the lifts are high-speed hooded lifts and there is a cable car as well. The options for beginners and advanced skiers tend to be a bit scant though. ... More

Sugi is amazing skiing... great powder, amazing side country (including trees), and varied terrain. The resort can get busy and the piste tracked out early, but if all lifts are spinning there are plenty of options. Would ski again!... More
