- Diverse terrain suitable for all levels
Cons
- Weekend crowds can be overwhelming
Overall
It is amazing what $1 billion will buy, even in Canadian funds. Tremblant ski resort, 90 minutes northwest of Montreal, looks and feels like a centuries-old Alpine village, but it is all new in the past decade thanks to a mountain of money.
Tremblant’s magnificent makeover has catapulted the humble 1939 Quebec ski hamlet to world-class resort status with a sophisticated mountain village unlike any other in the East. An avalanche of awards for the posh slopeside design confirms that the transformation has been tasteful and top-notch. No wonder Aspen has acquired Tremblant, and Alterra ski resorts Steamboat, Winter Park, and Stratton too.

Mint Tremblant is a great place to enjoy steep fast slopes with challenges for any age and ability. The resort is laid out perfectly. The village has so much character and has everything you need. The skiing is fantastic and from the glades to the groomers the snow is great. We had fun everyday on and off the slopes. Definately a great place... Moreexpert skier

This was my first ski trip. The green slopes are wonderful, long, absolutely beautiful. The town is charming as well. Definitely good for beginners! I got hooked onto skiing after this trip.... Morebeginner skier

Mont Tremblant is the best ski destination on the East coast. The village offers so many food and lodging options with some great ski in/out access. The service is top notch as everyone makes you feel at home. Great terrain park for park rats and the mountain and lifts can handle a crowded weekend well. The CAD value is great if you are coming... I feel Mont Tremblant is always very cold. Our last visit was during an ice storm which made it challenging to drive there. Many of the expert trails were closed or super icy so the kids only skied 2 half days.... Moreadvanced skier

Mont Tremblant is a fantastic resort. We were 4 with varying abilities and we were all able to find terrain that suited our needs. I do think think the beginner area could be extended - one in our group was skiing for the first time and may have appreciated a larger "bunny hill". Definitely spring for the first tracks upgrade. Move to the North... Moreintermediate skier

We loved the skiing at Mont Tremblant!
The snow was great and the runs awesome
BUT
We booked a ski package and our hotel ended up being 45 minutes from our hotel. Which was not clear on the site. The hotel that we book was terrible. Although we saved money going through snowpak it wasn't worth it. Think twice and read the fine print before you... Moreadvanced skier

Went on a family trip here while I was still in high school, and was blown away by the terrain here. The biggest drawback for me and my family was the relentless cold, but the town and the mountain left us with a great experience.... Moreadvanced skier

Tremblant is an all-around great mountain for anyone, families, singles or groups. Plenty of slope-side lodging and food. A really good mix of terrain and lift service with a billboard that highlights which lifts are busy and which ones aren't. They are often running promotions and reduced rates which is a bonus on top of the strong US to Canadian... Moreadvanced skier
