Zermatt is one of the most beautiful ski resort in Switzerland. A lift can bring you to 3900m above sea level to get a gorgeous view on the Swiss most famous mountain : the Matterhorn. The domain is really big and you can cross the Italian border. There loads of good backcountry spots, particularly on the glacier and on the Gornergrat side.... More

Zermatt is one of Switzerland's best resorts, very close to Verbier but on the Swiss-German speaking side of the mountains. They have great terrain and a world class ski school. You can even ski down to Italy for lunch and be back for dinner.
