Overall
We hadn’t skied Jay Peak in over a decade so we decided to make a detour to check out the northern Vermont snow stash of Jay. Arriving at the resort, we were blown away by the dominant Hotel Jay all light up like a luxe alpine hotel, with the gigantic glass water park attached. From the lobby to the 5th-floor suites, Hotel Jay is posh, playful and perfectly poised to Jay's legendary tram and lifts.

Killer snow for the East. It gets cold, because it is way up there. Surprisingly up there, almost Canada. Some sketchy stuff happened recently with the higher ups and the money could have gone into the resort but it is still a choice spot for VT. Impressive terrain and easy to find some challenging stuff. The trees are where it is at when they have... Moreexpert snowboarder

Jay Peak is an awesome resort with the best snow on the east coast. They have great terrain for both beginners and experts. There is never a dull day in the slopes. Then after skiing they have a great selection of restaurants and other great winter activities. Hands down one of my favorite resorts.... Moreadvanced skier

One of the best peaks in the East. Some seriously gladed trails and even better side country terrain. You could spend a whole day lost in the woods. A bit of a drive to get too, but worth the trip!... Moreexpert skier

Jay is one of the best for the east coast. They have a great amount of tree skiing and steeps. The hotels are right at slopes and joined by underground hallways which include restaraunts and pubs. ... Moreexpert skier
