Located within an hour of Anchorage, Alaska's biggest ski area sits at a surprisingly low elevation just under 4,000 ft but with 700 in of annual snowfall, we're not complaining. Aside from the excellent snow conditions,the breath taking beauty,and the great equiptment, Alyeska resort is staffed by some of the most proffessional and courteous folks you could ask for.the accomidations are great and the food is wonderful.I spent a year in Alaska and frequented Aleyska routinely.

Steep, great views out to the inlet and beyond. A truly challenging area to ski.
