Overall
With a colorful village, true slopeside lodging, and affordable prices, Silver Star is a fantastic family-friendly resort with a great mix of terrain suitable for all levels. While experts might find more challenging terrain elsewhere, the solid advanced runs here will keep most happy. The majority of runs within the 3,000 ac of terrain here sit below the tree line which means they are well protected for when the weather turns and generally holds snow better than higher more exposed resorts.

This is my favourite little resort in British Columbia. Not the biggest vertical, not the most technical terrain, but plenty of variety for both alpine and nordic skiing, and a small, friendly village, with plenty of ski-in ski-out accommodation optionsSuperb!5 / 5Oct 09, 2017

Silver Star is a great mountain. They get nice little powder for most of the ski season. I really like the selection of black diamond runs in close proximity to each other on the back side of the mountain. The village also has a very unique feel as all the building are painted in a mix of vibrant colours.
