- Slope connected to Solitude Mountain on the Solbright pass
- Less crowded than nearby popular resorts
Cons
- Small base with limited food and lodging
Overall
Brighton is always a reliable choice for Utah's infamous powder but without the price tag and crowds of nearby resorts. On the other hand, it's much smaller with a relatively short vertical drop. Nevertheless, Brighton is an affordable locals mountain with a laid-back vibe with a good variety of runs and park scene.

Went to Brighton for the first time last season and loved it!!! Amazing snow and every run is a blast. Really fun trails through the trees and off the runs. Atmosphere is fun and welcoming and more laid back and friendly than Park City. Will definitely be going back this year.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

small mountain with good lake effect snow, quick from airport, some fun advanced but not huge, good value for the ticket price, not to expensive, not much town or entertainment going on, could use more music for Apre Ski in base area.... Moreadvanced skier

Love this place. It great if you love lots of powder and variable terrain. Can't say enough about it. The back country is the best. You can access the canyons and other resorts. ... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Love Molly Greens, and the people are always great to chill with on the mountain. Climb a little bit for some great rewards, or stick inside and dance with the trees. ... Moreadvanced skier

Brighton is a great way to experience the cottonwood canyons and Utah powder. The Backcountry access is some of the best anywhere in the Wasatch. There is not much by the way of lodging or apres ski at Brighton itself but honestly that fact only adds to the experience. Brighton is all about riding. Forget everything and lose yourself in world... Moreexpert skier

Brighton is an incredible Resort! It is the last family-friendly resort in Utah! This is the only Resort in Utah that still allows children 10 years of age and under to ski for free. They still care about family value, and they're lift pass prices show that. I have skied every major resort in Utah, and I bought my season pass this year to Brighton... Moreadvanced skier

It's a small resort, the slopes aren't that steep... BUT it has the best tree runs around, exceptional side country and the most important for me: it has night ski!! Nothing better than shred or jump in the park after a shitty day at work. Didn't mention the quality of the snow because it's Utah good... Moreless the same as in snowbird/Alta... Great powder without the frills.Close to the city with easy access to bus. It has a down home feeling with lots of backcountry. Great place to bring friends, family. They have great kid free or cheaper rates.Very Good!4 / 5Oct 08, 2017

I actually skied Brighton the most last season. The main reason being cost. I don't go enough anymore to justify a season pass so I'm always looking for a good deal. You can always find some kind of discount to Brighton, from their Quad Wednesday to various 2 for 1 night skiing promotions from various businesses and radio stations. Even at full... More
