Overall

Brighton is always a reliable choice for Utah's infamous powder but without the price tag and crowds of nearby resorts. On the other hand, it's much smaller with a relatively short vertical drop. Nevertheless, Brighton is an affordable locals mountain with a laid-back vibe with a good variety of runs and park scene.

They’ve got lots of blue and green runs for beginners, but also plenty of steep and deep tree runs for advanced skiers if that is what you’re in to, and tons of great stuff in the side country. Also got some pretty good parks with something for everyone, as well as night skiing!... More

Brighton is one of the smaller resorts in Utah, but offers a lot of value considering its location and snow quality. Despite its size, Brighton seems to always have some powder and the runs are great. The only downside is that the best lift is in an area that gets high winds frequently and they have to close it often.... More

Brighton is a great value for the money. A mellow resort with lots of tree skiing. This is where I learned to ski. This is where I teach my kids how to ski. Brighton is now the only place in the Wasatch where you can go night skiing. They got night skiing right! Skiing at Brighton always feels like coming home.... More
