- Slope connected to Solitude Mountain on the Solbright pass
- Less crowded than nearby popular resorts
Cons
- Small base with limited food and lodging
Overall
Brighton is always a reliable choice for Utah's infamous powder but without the price tag and crowds of nearby resorts. On the other hand, it's much smaller with a relatively short vertical drop. Nevertheless, Brighton is an affordable locals mountain with a laid-back vibe with a good variety of runs and park scene.

It's easy to get to and has a lot of options for terrain.
Can get pretty crowded but has night skiing opportunities.
Parking isn't great but there is a easy to use bus system.... Moreadvanced skier

This is the easier mtn compared to the sister mtn Solitude. The blue and black runs were fun and well laid out. Didn’t have to traverse much between runs. Tree/glade runs were also very fun!... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Brighton is awesome! They’ve got lots of blue and green runs for beginners, but also plenty of steep and deep tree runs for advanced skiers if that is what you’re in to, and tons of great stuff in the side country. Also got some pretty good parks with something for everyone, as well as night skiing!... Moreadvanced skier

Brighton is one of the smaller resorts in Utah, but offers a lot of value considering its location and snow quality. Despite its size, Brighton seems to always have some powder and the runs are great. The only downside is that the best lift is in an area that gets high winds frequently and they have to close it often.... Moreadvanced skier

Brighton is a great value for the money. A mellow resort with lots of tree skiing. This is where I learned to ski. This is where I teach my kids how to ski. Brighton is now the only place in the Wasatch where you can go night skiing. They got night skiing right!
Skiing at Brighton always feels like coming home.... Moreintermediate skier

Definition of back door boarding. Family friendly. And what makes it even better, they offer a variety of days and nights at various prices great for EVERYONE to enjoy at least a day (or night). We have gone here pretty frequently and never seem to be amazed.. I’m telling you, it’s the best snow in the nation.... Moreadvanced snowboarder

Beware the greats Brighton Flats in the middle ! Fun, but a little on the short side if you are looking for long leg burning runs. Lots of great beginner and intermediate terrain !... Moreexpert skier

Sorry skiers the word is out. Brighton is snowboarding paradise. Long perfectly sloped runs, nicely spaced trees and some steeps as well. Oh and the PapapaPowder! Top of the canyon for a reason!... Moreadvanced snowboarder
